Shorts? In the Snow?
This doesn't even come close to what I wore out on Saturday night...in the mountains...in a couple feet of snow.
I wore stilettos.
It was well worth the effort getting to and from the bar because they very much made the outfit; Oh and they were the only other shoes I brought. Actually, the stilettos are what got me a ride home.
You see, I was having a random person pull me on my jacket like sled so I didn't have to walk in the snow (Smart right!) and then a car pulls up. The dude in the front says "Oh hey, it's the chick wearing stilettos. Looks like you could use a ride."
And so me and my friends got a ride back up the mountain to our condo.
In fact, my life may have been saved because it would have taken forever to walk back and I might have just died of hypothermia.
Maybe not so inappropriate after all!

See, I feel like on the one hand, only you could pull this off! But on the other hand, shorts and tights is such a fun combo. We wear skirts in the winter - why not shorts?

DeleteOh my gosh, you are brave! I would have 25 layers on in the snow. When it's that cold, fashion comes second and all I care about is being warm! So props to you!
ReplyDeleteLOL I wish I could be functional, I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've kicked myself for not wearing something more appropriate. I always under estimate the weather it seems.
