st. thomas

The third stop on the cruise was St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands.

The city was filled with history. My favorite kind of history: Pirate History. Apparently it was where the pirates liked to exchange their loot for cash money. I kept my eyes peeled for a present day pirate but I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for.

I purchased this jumpsuit last summer in the Netherlands and its been one of my favorite go-to comfy outfits. I guess I loved it too much and found out after walking all over St. Thomas in it, that a tear exposed a large portion of my rear end. I saw the city and the city saw me!

  9. I'm sad to hear that fabulous printed jumpsuit is torn. I hope it's salvageable. Unfortunatley, I don't think modern pirates have nearly the glamor or style of their predecessors. It's probably best you didn't find one. These days I think they just look like regular, run of the mill, poorly dressed criminals on run down speed boats. Not much romance there. Oh well. You look great.
